What is the Chino Grinder?

The course will be a 106 mile-long out and back from Chino, Arizona to Williams, Arizona and back through the upper Verde Watershed of the Prescott and Kaibab National Forests. There is approximately a 60/40 split between gravel and paved roads. Elevations along the course vary from 4000 ft to 7500 ft.

Three aid stations support riders with water, sports drinks, energy bars and more. Roving mechanic support throughout the ride. All riders free beer (must be 21), event tee shirt, a chance to win fabulous raffle prizes:

The out and back 100 mile course (75% graded dirt and 25% pavement)will venture from the Dudleyville County Park to a turnaround area just outside of Florence Arizona and back to Dudleyville using county roads. Leaving Dudleyville you will start a 2000 foot climb for the first 12 miles. From there it is a twisting turning 36 mile gradual descent (2500 feet) through some of the most scenic desert Arizona has to offer.
